Abu Dhabi, 6 March 2023 – Khidmah, one of the region's leading integrated facilities management and maintenance companies, has reached a major milestone by recording 9 million Safe Man-Hours in the last 12 months, including 3.5 million safe hours achieved in the summer season.

Throughout the years, Khidmah continued to offer its employees numerous training, development and awareness programmes, including how to work at heights and stay safe, how to address and report hazards, how to work safely in the summer, how to operate machines and building maintenance units (BMUs) safely, the safe operation of mobile elevated working platform (MEWP) operations, and chemical safety management among others.
Most recently, Khidmah launched a number of new safety initiatives including the Ladder Safety Programme, which focuses on improving employee competency when using ladders, and enhanced Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) practices centring on the proper application and implementation of electrical safety procedures. Furthermore, the company successfully executed ten emergency drills with the relevant authorities in full compliance.
Khidmah is accredited with the globally recognised ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, and ISO 22301 for Business Continuity Management.
