Our Annual Achievements
Khidmah won the “Health and Safety Initiative of the Year” award for its unique contribution in public health safety. Since 2012, Khidmah has expanded the companies’ first aid training beyond lifeguards to include training for professional staff, technicians and residents in various developments, throughout the UAE, in conjunction with “Safety First Medical Services”. More than 300 of Khidmah’s staff and over 20 of residents and non-residents, including nannies and parents in Khidmah managed communities, have been trained and provided with First Aid certifications accordingly.
Also, Khidmah received the “Cleaning Company of the Year” award for its sustainable practices, proactive approach, effective communication and delivery of best value services to clients within the region.
In 2013, Khidmah was recognised with two awards at the FM Middle East Awards event. Abu Dhabi based Khidmah, the leading Facilities Management & Service Solutions Provider, won two awards for “Cleaning Company of the Year” along with ”Innovative use of IT in FM” at the 2013 FM Middle East Awards.
The event is considered to be one of the main highlights in the FM industry agenda and recognises organisations who have accomplished above and beyond in the Facilities Management sector within the region. With a total of 57 organisations shortlisted across 14 different categories, Khidmah was also a finalist in categories for “Green FM”, “Educational & Development initiative”.

Additionally, Khidmah won the “Innovative Use of IT in FM” award for the second consecutive year for the introduction of its new AC Duct Cleaning Service, technological developments in Service delivery, as well as providing cost effective Service Solutions to its Clients in the Facility Management field.
In 2012, Khidmah received the award for “The Innovative use of IT in FM” at the FM Middle East Awards. Khidmah received the award for “Innovative Use of IT in FM” by introducing new technologies and initiatives to the Facilities Management sector. These initiatives included the roll-out of the new Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) System – Maximo, Mobile PDA’s for Real Time updates, Fleet Management Systems, and GPS tracking and directing devices to provide cost effective Services Solutions to its Clients.
In 2011, Khidmah received the award for Training & Development at the Facilities Management Middle East Awards. Khidmah received the award for “Education & Development Initiative” of the year for its Emirati Internship Program. The program develops future leaders and exposes UAE nationals to the Property and Facilities Management industry through meaningful assignments allowing students to get first-hand experience in the FM sector.
